A Space Where You Can Unmask

Picture the cosiest afternoon at your grandma's — learning to crochet, nowhere to be, nothing to prove. Now move it to a pub, swap the crochet hook for a glue gun, pour a Long Island iced tea, and bring your girlfriends.

That's Crafty Social.

We're all exhausted — by screens, by performing, by connecting through glass instead of across a table. So we bring the opposite with us: to pubs, brewhouses, community centres, and meeting rooms. Wherever we pop up, it becomes a warm, welcoming space where you can put the phone down, get a little glue on your fingers, laugh with the person next to you, and leave with something beautiful you made yourself. That feeling — I made this — is the whole point.

What we believe:

• Come as you are. No experience, no talent, no Pinterest-perfect expectations. Just bring yourself.

• Be kind. Everyone's project looks different, and that's the beauty of it.

• Make it yours. We guide, you create. Your piece won't look like anyone else's — that's exactly right.

• Disconnect to reconnect. The phones can wait. The people in the room can't.

Who's behind it:

I'm Angela — founder and Chief Creative Instigator. I started Crafty Social because making things helped me find my way back to myself, and I wanted to build a place where it could do the same for other people. Elegant, soft, and cosy — like grandma's house, but with better cocktails.
